We live on the premises in a different part of the Château with our Basset Hound "Hobson" and Fifi the Terrier and Bamber the Gasgoine, so we are available if you wish to know anything about the area or have any problems.
The 360 sq. foot Master bedroom has a 20 ft high vaulted ceiling and an enormous 16th century fireplace, there are french doors to the outside seating area. There is also access to the shared shower-room.
The 120 sq. feet second bedroom has the original 12th century flagstones and stone walls and a 16th century beamed ceiling. The window overlooks the village and square. There is a door to the living room and access to the shared shower-room.
The living room is 500 sq. feet. It was originally the great hall of the North Wing. It has a 15 foot high beamed ceiling and original 12th century flagstone floor, chandeliers, and a 7 foot wide fireplace with the coat of arms of the d'Alichoux de Senegra from the 16th century above. It is comfortably furnished with antique and modern furniture. There is a dining table and seating for 6. There is also Satellite TV, DVD, Video and a stereo CD system.
The 250 sq foot kitchen has a 15 ft high beamed ceiling and 16th century tomette tiles. Equipment includes - Gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. It opens directly onto the courtyard and there is access to the master bedroom and the living room. Ther is a 3.5 metre wide oak cupboard and a large work island.
Both the master bedroom and the kitchen lead directly onto the courtyard. There is a table and seating and BBQ for al-fresco meals and a private hot-tub for the sole use of the apartment
