La Tour de Preigne
The tower apartment is to the East of the Chateau and was added to the original building in the 16th century, The large bedroom is situated in the tower and has an exposed stone wall with a meutrier window (arrow slit), this would have been the exterior of the 12th century building. There is a modern en-suite shower-room with toilet and basin. The château stands above the village of Boussagues and the views from the bedroom look down the valley over the rooftops and across the surrounding countryside and is quite breathtaking.

There rest of the apartment consists of a large living room / kitchen / dinning room and there are large doors onto the terrace and views over the village from the windows. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, microwave washing machine and dishwasher. the large terrace is a real suntrap and has a jacuzzi for the sole use of the apartment .

The apartment is suitable for two people only and I am afraid we do not accept children but dogs are welcome. We live on the premises in a different part of the Château with our Basset Hound "Hobson", Fifi the Terrier and Bamber the Gasgoine, so we are available if you wish to know anything about the area or have any problems.

Central heating is included between 1 Oct and 31 March, if you require heating outside of these times there is a £50 per week surcharge.
