One of the few, if not the only, medevial worshop fronts preserved in the Haut Cantons. It opened onto the Rue plan de Castel, which marked the boundry of the first fortified vill of Boussagues. On the ground floor it only had a doorway with a pointed arch, with it's characteristic stepped wall, while the first floor had an open gallery (like the second floor of the 'Hôtel des Monnaies' at Villemagne, from the end of the 13th century). |
