The south tower to the left and the main building are of the 12th century, whilst the north tower to the right was an addition in the 16th century. The window in the south tower is a rare 'gemini' window with Romanesque colonnade. The two windows in the main building were replacements for the 12th century meutriers (arrow slits). The ground floor of the South tower is reputed to have been a prison.
