To the left of the picture is a later addition in the 16th century together with the tower in the background. Out of sight to the far left is the north wing of the 12th century with later additions. The main hall in this wing still contains the coat of arms of the family of d'Alichou de Senegra, who made the additions in the 16th century. It is very rare that the Blazon survives as during the French revolution all references to the aristocracy were destroyed. It should be noted that the quality of work in the original parts is by far superior to the later additions.
